Terms of use

Last updated October 22, 2026

The short version: membership needs no approval, paid memberships are purchased by card, and retreat deposits are refunded if approval is declined. Once a retreat is approved, its deposit is non-refundable but credits another retreat.

What these terms cover

These terms apply whenever you use wildambition.org, send us an inquiry, join The Wild Collective, or book a retreat or a session with us.

Before you commit to anything, we confirm the details of your specific membership, retreat or session in writing by email. If that email says something different from this page, the email is what applies.

Using this site

The writing, photography and design here belong to Wild Ambition. You're welcome to read it, share a link and quote a short passage with credit. Please don't copy the site wholesale, or use our name or marks to promote something else.

Member profiles, the service exchange and what's said on calls stay inside the community. Every call and gathering runs under the Chatham House Rule: use what you hear, never who said it.

Don't use this site for anything unlawful, and don't try to reach member areas you haven't been given access to.

Membership

No approval or joining call is needed. There are three memberships: Trailhead - Free · USD $0, Free · USD $0 if paid upfront; Trail Circle - USD $39/month, USD $390/year if paid upfront; Trail Guide - USD $349/month, USD $3,490/year if paid upfront.

Paid memberships are purchased by card on this website. The selected tier, price and any applicable tax are shown before payment. Annual membership is paid in full upfront, which includes two months free; monthly membership is paid each month.

Trailhead is free. Paid benefits activate after successful payment. Cancel renewal from your membership payments page; benefits continue until your paid month or year ends. Membership does not approve you for a retreat or book a session.

Retreats

Retreats are $4,500 in Nicaragua and $3,000 in Colorado, per woman, all-inclusive except flights.

A USD $500 deposit reserves your spot. Retreat participation requires a call and approval. If you are not approved, the full deposit payment is refunded. Once approved, it is non-refundable, but credits toward another Wild Ambition retreat. For Nicaragua, the balance splits over monthly payments, finishing 30 days before the retreat. For Colorado, the full balance is due when you book.

The balance is refundable up to 60 days before the retreat. After that, your spot transfers to another woman.

Spots are limited and run in order. Member booking opens before public sign-ups, a full retreat uses an ordered waitlist, and a released spot goes to the next person in line.

If a retreat can't go ahead, we contact everyone registered directly and arrange what happens next.

Sessions with Debra

Trail Guide includes one private 30-minute session each membership month. Standalone sessions are booked and paid separately: a 60-minute virtual session is $350, and an in-person adventure day near Denver starts at $750. Travel beyond Denver and the Colorado high country is agreed and costed before booking.

Included sessions are scheduled with at least 24 hours' notice, a late start shortens the session, unused sessions don't carry over automatically, and rescheduling is limited before a session is counted as used. The full list of terms sits on the membership page.

Sessions are time with Debra, not medical, therapeutic, legal, financial or tax advice.

Your details

How we handle your information is set out in the Privacy Policy: analytics is opt-in, we don't send names, email addresses or form answers to analytics, and anything you share with us directly is used to reply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the work grows; the date above shows the current version. The version in force when you commit to something is the one that applies to it.

Session terms, in full
  • Your Trail Guide membership includes one private, 30-minute session with Debra each membership month.
  • You choose your session from the available appointments after your Trail Guide membership is paid; asking about a session does not create a booking.
  • Appointments are shown in your own time zone, and we confirm the format and details with you before your session.
  • Each session is virtual or in person doing an adventure activity. In person is local to Denver and the Colorado high country, or we travel to you anywhere; travel arrangements and costs are agreed before booking.
  • You can move a session within the same membership month with at least 24 hours' notice.
  • Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice or not showing up counts as that month's session; we consider exceptions for emergencies.
  • A session ends at its scheduled time, so arriving late shortens it.
  • Sessions do not roll over automatically; if we cannot offer you an appointment, your session carries forward.
  • If we cancel a session, it remains available and we arrange a replacement at no cost to you.
