Wild Ambition
Women in conversation around an outdoor fire at dusk

Wild Ambition · The work

This is not a yoga retreat.

Adventure opens the door. The work is what you do inside it: structured sessions on your career, business or next move, a peer board that takes you seriously, and a plan you leave with.

No payment or commitment to inquire.

You bring the real thing. We build the week around it.

Women arrive carrying a decision they have been circling, a business that needs a next move, a team they want to lead better, or a change they can feel coming. The retreat week is designed so that work gets done, not just talked about. Trail or surf in the morning. Work in the afternoon. Fire at night.

Bring the hard problem

The career decision, the business question, the leadership challenge you have been carrying alone. It becomes the agenda.

Work it with the group

Structured sessions, honest conversation and a peer board of women who ask better questions than a conference ever did.

Leave with it in writing

A decision made, three moves on paper, an accountability partner, and follow-up calls that keep you moving.

The programme

Four parts. One week.

The exact schedule depends on the retreat you choose. On flagship retreats, the professional work follows this shape.

  1. 01

    Basecamp

    The audit.

Where are you, really? A structured working session to name what is compounding, what is costing you, and the decision you have been circling.

  2. 02

    Ascent

    The peer board.

Your 60-minute hot seat with the operators, founders and executives in your group working your hardest problem. A board of directors most careers never get.

  3. 03

    Summit

    The keynote conversation.

An accomplished woman hikes the summit day with us, then takes your questions by the fire. No stage. No panel. No PR answers.

  4. 04

    Descent

    The 90-day plan.

You leave with a decision made, three moves in writing, an accountability partner from the group, and two follow-up calls at 30 and 60 days.

The peer board

Your whole group, one hour, your hardest problem.

Most ambitious women have advisors who are too polite and peers who are too busy. The peer board is neither. You get the hot seat, and the women around the fire - founders, executives, consultants, operators - ask what a board would ask.

They have run the payroll, made the layoff, walked away from the deal, and started over. Their questions cut through the version of the problem you came in with.

You are on their board the next day. What you give is what you get.

What you leave with

The 90-day plan.

You do not leave with a feeling. You leave with work in motion.

  • A decision made - the one you have been circling, named and made before you fly home.
  • Three moves in writing - the next 90 days of your career or business, on one page.
  • An accountability partner from the group - a woman who heard you commit and will ask how it went.
  • Two follow-up calls at 30 and 60 days - because a plan that survives the calendar is the only kind worth writing.

Who leads the work

The women holding the fire.

Every facilitator is named here, with exactly the background we can stand behind. As the roster grows, so does this list.

“I have never had to imagine whether the next rung was possible...I could just look up.”

“Representation alone isn't what got me here. The work did. My choices did. Building a life that could support my career did.”

Frequently asked questions

The professional work, answered.

How the sessions work, what the peer board is, and what happens after you leave.

What does professional development on a Wild Ambition retreat actually involve?

Flagship retreats pair outdoor adventure with structured working sessions on your career, business or next move. The programme includes a working audit of where you are, a peer board session on your hardest problem, a keynote conversation with an accomplished woman, and time to write a 90-day plan. The exact schedule depends on the experience; ask us for the confirmed itinerary.

What is the peer board?

A peer board is your 60-minute hot seat with the other women on the retreat. You bring the decision or problem you have been circling, and the founders, executives, consultants and operators in your group work it with you: real questions, real experience, no networking performance. Ask us how the session is structured for the retreat you are considering.

What is the 90-day plan?

Before you leave, you write down what you decided and the three moves you will make next, and you choose an accountability partner from the group. The plan includes two follow-up calls with that partner at 30 and 60 days, so the work continues after the trail ends.

Who is this for?

Ambitious women at any level: in a company, between roles, consulting or running your own. Bring what's next for you - the decision you have been avoiding, the role you want next, or the team you are trying to lead better.

Is this a qualification or a guarantee of career results?

No. Wild Ambition is not an accredited qualification and does not promise career outcomes. It is structured work on real decisions, done in honest company, with a written plan and follow-up calls to keep you moving.

Do I have to book a retreat to do this work?

Retreats are the deepest version, but not the only one. Curated dinners and working sessions, 1:1 sessions (virtual, or in person doing an adventure activity near Denver or wherever you are) and The Wild Collective community offer other ways to connect. Tell us what you are working on and we'll help you choose the right format.

One path, not three

The trail, the journal, and the career you want next - all one conversation.

Wild Ambition isn't adventure on one side and reflection on the other, with your work life left at the trailhead. It's all woven together. The ridge in the morning is the same conversation as the journal in the afternoon and the leadership session by the fire. Your body, your inner life, and your career walking the same path for once.

Morning · on the trail

Earned miles. Cold air. The questions you've been avoiding finally have somewhere to land.

Villa pool and terrace with jungle and Pacific hills beyond

Afternoon · with a journal

Solo reflection and small-circle conversation. The same questions, slowed down - written, spoken, heard.

A circle of women gathered around a campfire at night

Evening · by the fire

Real sessions on what's next. Career, leadership, the next hard call - with women who've actually sat in those chairs.

This isn't a retreat from your career. It's a retreat for it.

Because the woman on the ridge, the one with the journal, and the one running the team on Monday are the same woman. We design every day so they finally get to talk to each other.

  • -Morning movement - trail, summit, or volcano rim
  • -Guided reflection and solo time built into every day
  • -Small-circle conversation in groups of 4–6
  • -Career mapping & next-chapter strategy
  • -Leadership roundtables on power, voice, and presence
  • -Peer board sessions with women in tech, CPG, agencies, and startups
  • -The conversation you can't have at the offsite

Women's adventure trips. Your own next move.

You can come for the trail, the work, or the women. You don't need to bring a group to find yours.
